Drops vs. Spray - What are the differences?
Like most other medications, a person’s age can determine the dosage and choice. The same applies to nasal sprays.1 Both Otrivin Nasal sprays and drops contain the same key active ingredient, xylometazoline.1,2
We have developed Otrivin Paed Nasal Drops to provide relief of nasal congestion in children, like the spray.1,2 The formula contains xylometazoline adapted to work effectively for children.2 After five consecutive days of use, or sooner, the congestion should be clear and you should discontinue use.2 If after five days, your child is still showing symptoms, consult your doctor.2
