Otrivin Seawater with Aloe Vera

Otrivin Seawater with Aloe Vera nasal spray is a preservative-free, contains natural ingredients isotonic seawater solution. This product also contains natural powder of Aloe Vera plant, which is known to have soothing and moisturising properties.

Otrivin Seawater with Aloe Vera is suitable for adults and children from 6 years of age.

Its nasal nozzle is adapted to the shape of the nose of older children (from 6 years of age) and adults.

The pressure of its spray allows a gentle and careful washing of obstructed nose and runny nose.

This spray can also be used to humidify nasal passages.

Otrivin Seawater with Aloe Vera is recommended to:

• Gently cleanse the nasal cavities when the nose is blocked, e.g. during a cold or in allergic conditions, by washing away the excess mucus or the allergen particles such as dust or pollen

• Soothe the irritated nasal passages

• Moisturise the nasal mucosa when dry or irritated in case of minor nasal irritations or due to low humidity (e.g. due to heated/air-conditioned rooms, high altitude, air travelling)

• Thin and loosen nasal secretions and help their removal.

Ingredients and Instructions for use

Ingredients: Aloe Vera powder, seawater and purified water. Preservative free.

Nitrogen is added as an inert propellant gas in the pressurized device. The propellant gas is not in contact with the solution. Otrivin Seawater with Aloe Vera is available as nasal spray of 100mL.

Before using Otrivin Seawater with Aloe Vera:

Caution, before use read carefully the following Instructions for Use. Do not use the product in case of allergy to any of the ingredients (see ingredients list).

Do not use a broken or damaged product.

You should consult a doctor before using Otrivin Seawater with Aloe Vera following a nasal operation or injury.

Due to its cleansing properties, Otrivin Seawater with Aloe Vera should be used first when using another local nasal product (e.g. for cold or allergic rhinitis).

  • How to use Otrivin Seawater with Aloe Vera

    Under normal conditions of use, as indicated, Otrivin Seawater with Aloe Vera is well tolerated. For hygienic reasons and to avoid contamination, the nasal spray should only be used by one person.

    1. Blow the nose if necessary.
    2. Before and after using Otrivin Seawater with Aloe Vera, wash your hands carefully. 
    3. Remove the protective cap of the spray.
    4. If the spray has not been used for a long time, prime the spray once into the air before use. In case the spray nozzle is blocked, clean it under hot running water and dry it properly with a clean tissue.
    5. Insert the nozzle in the upper nostril and spray briefly (2 to 3 seconds).
    6. Then, tilt the head to the other side and repeat in the other nostril.
    7. Allow the product to act for a few seconds. Do not blow the nose during this time, but wipe it if necessary.
    8. Then, blow the nose if needed.
    9. After each use, clean the nozzle under hot running water, dry it properly with a clean tissue and put the protective cap back on.
    10. Clean the actuator with hot water. Do not use chemical materials or dishwashing liquid or disinfectant.

    Do not use microwave.

  • How to Store Otrivin Seawater with Aloe Vera

    Keep the product out of the reach and sight of children.

    Do not use the product after the expiry date shown on the packaging.

    Store the spray in the original packaging box.

    Store between 0°C and 25°C.

    Do not store into the fridge. Do not freeze.
